Starting today, December 23rd, technicians in the field will now have the ability to permanently remove/delete an inspection from their iPad – allowing for a better technician experience in the field.
This product update builds upon the most recent filter and search feature to be added to Inspect Point.
This new delete feature for the iPad, not only provides technicians with the ability to remove inspections from the iPad in the field, but helps display a more accurate view of completed inspections by allowing “cancelled” inspections to be deleted from the “completed” tab.
Technicians looking to delete an inspection from the iPad can now locate the inspection they’d like removed, swipe left on the inspection, and remove the inspection from the iPad by clicking the “Delete” button.
In addition, to help maintain open communication between the field and the back office, we have added a new inspection status – “Deleted by Technician” – to notify back office users of all deleted inspections in the field.
As always, this status can easily be filtered for on the inspection listing screen, and adjusted via the inspection detail screen.
We’re excited to announce the release of this feature and will continue to announce product features and updates as they become available.
